Welcome to the Natural Balance House!

This beautiful, deep-green home was built by
Ravenhill Construction for Glen and Deb Bruels
on the shore of Washington’s San Juan Island.
Completed in early 2011, the home was
designed by Michael McNamara of Blue Sky Design

The home is ENERGY STAR certified, and is pursuing other certifications as well, including 5-star Built Green and LEED for Homes Platinum. It features a 20,000-gallon rainwater cistern to meet 100% of water needs, solar hot water, geothermal heating, LED lighting, and many other sustainable features. The home was featured in Ocean Home magazine and other media, and was toured by more than 250 visitors in May of 2011.
