Ambiente is proud to partner with the Bruels for the Natural Balance House project. Together, we carefully thought out and selected materials throughout the home that are not only sustainable and durable, but beautiful as well. Post industrial as well as post consumer waste comprises the majority of these products, and value is added through materials that offer an extended life cycle and low maintenance, ranging from stone (used throughout) to glass (Oceanside) to countertop materials produced locally in Seattle (Trinity countertops).
We are excited to see the integration of successful green design come together with beautiful, durable surfaces.

LED Lighting Design

DEVON P. ANDERSON of DPA Lighting is providing the lighting design and LED fixtures for this project. LED Lighting is a new technology and is rapidly changing the face of lighting specification and application. We pride ourselves in being constantly educated in this arena, and in continuing to align ourselves with LED and controls manufacturers who are perpetual innovators and tops in the lighting industry. This puts a very high value on our ability to specify the “right” LED product for the needed application and give you a project you can be proud of. DPA Lighting’s expertise and knowledge is in lighting design and in controls at all levels. We truly believe that when it comes to lighting design, “less is more” applies – and that the “architecture” always comes first! Custom woven rugs

Here at LaBrashe Fine Rug Gallery it is our goal to bring the finest quality carpets available to our clients. Our original designs are woven in the himalayan region of Nepal by the most experienced artisians. We select the highest quality himalayan wool and silk to be used in the production of these pieces. We carry traditional as well as contemporary styles in our collections. It is our pleasure in finding that special piece you will enjoy for many years to come. Custom designing carpets for our clients is also possible. If you can imagine it we can make it. Designing your space should evolve around your personnality and tastes. Rainwater harvesting model & landscape plan

Rob Stevens of Core Design, Inc. provided the rainwater harvesting model which estimates water demand and rainwater supply throughout the year. Rob’s passion for sustainable design (Rob powers his own home with solar panels) has propelled Core into being a leader in low-impact design. Core Design, Inc. is a privately owned team of professionals and technicians that specialize in Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, Civil Engineering and Surveying services for commercial, residential and public land development projects.

As a long time Built Green member, AAA KARTAK Glass & Closet provides expert craftsmanship in over 30 Built Green and LEED projects monthly. We are proud to play a key role in the Natural Balance House. Most AAA KARTAK materials and custom glasswork are low VOC and manufactured right here in Puget Sound including the Shower Doors, Mirrors, Custom Glass and Designer Closets. We are providing FSC Certified Designer Closet material featuring dove-tail drawers meet all CARB compliance requirements. AAA KARTAK has won multiple environmental awards due to our environmental efforts, our use of sustainable and durable locally manufactured products, and our commitment to plant two trees for every new job location including the Natural Balance House.
